Perhaps after a week of staring at the sea you will crave some hard ground to explore, maybe not if you are fully installed at the Waterside Bar. Either way, it is well worth exploring further up the valley. Walk up to the top of the holiday park, past the boat store, following the stream through the dog exercise area, and you will find yourself on the footpath network. Without going to excessive detail here, if you head up the valley and generally bear left, you will arrive in a completely desserted picturesque corner, will pools and trees and stillness. If you carry on to the top of the hill and bear turn right, the follow the road to the right you will find a real country pub. If you interpret a real country pub as fine wines and al la carte then turn left and left again on the road- we don't judge.
If you get to a point where you really need something different, checkout the brochures on the marketing stalls in the various retail outlets around the village. There are some great theme parks and places to visit not that far away.
